New Cars And How To Get The Lowest Prices
by Musa Aykac
A new car is one of the most expensive items most of us will ever buy, so it is important that we get the best price. However, for most people, the first price that they are told in the showroom is the price that they are prepared to pay. This is never a good idea, and when you do this you can be fairly sure that the price you are paying for the car is too much. If you want to be sure that you are getting the best price when it comes to new cars, you should have a look at the tips below.
- You will probably find that sellers are desperate to make a sale at the moment because there are so few people actually buying new cars. This means that it is a buyer's market, but you can only benefit from this if you take advantage of the fact.
If the seller believes that they can still get the top amount of money out of you they are going to try to do this that's only fair after all. If the dealer thinks that they might lose your business elsewhere they can be very willing to accommodate on price.
- Dealers who say the price is non-negotiable should not be believed. If this is what you are told then walk away because most of them will follow you out the door with a lower price. These dealers are highly trained, and you have to be willing to call their bluff.
Do not allow yourself to be fobbed off with free gifts. Only discus these free gifts when you are fully satisfied with the price. A lot of dealers will offer you lots of free gifts so that you won't negotiate on the price, but you have to stand your ground where price is concerned.
