QUICK BITES :

-The US Senate has approved landmark legislation allowing openly gay people to serve in the military.

-Bank of America has joined several other financial institutions in refusing to handle payments for WikiLeaks.

-Arnold Schwarzenegger says he would consider a post in the Obama administration.

-A bill that offers a path to citizenship to some illegal immigrants who entered the United States as children failed a procedural vote in the Senate on Saturday.

-'40-Year-Old Virgin' actor sentenced to life--The Indian-born actor 'Shelley Malil'-- who, according to the Internet Movie Database, has appeared in at least 54 movies and television projects, from Budweiser commercials, to guest appearances on "Scrubs" and "Reba," to his break-out performance as Steve Carell's co-worker Haziz in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" -- testified that he stabbed his girlfriend by mistake, thinking he was defending her.
